Battle Creek police have accomplished their investigation into the dying of a bicyclist who collided with an SUV.

Robert Beavo, 75, of Battle Creek died Sept. 7 following a crash at 10:11 a.m.

Investigators mentioned Beavo was using a bicycle westbound on Morgan Highway and rode into the intersection with Bedford Highway and struck the facet of a southbound automobile.

In a report launched Monday police mentioned the motive force of the automobile, Eric Hillman, 54, of Battle Creek, was driving within the curb lane and did not see the bicycle till simply earlier than impression on his driver’s door.

He tried to swerve and his automobile stopped on the sidewalk close to Taylor Avenue simply south of the intersection of Bedford and Morgan roads.

Police mentioned there aren’t any expenses for the motive force.

Beavo was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo the place he died later that day.
