Pflugerville approves $1.5M contract related to 2020 transportation bond projects

Pflugerville City Council approved March 23 a $1.57 million contract with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for professional engineering services for the city’s 2020 transportation bond program. Voters approved a $101.7 million transportation bond package in the November 2020 bond election.

Freese and Nichols will offer general engineering consulting services to the city of Pflugerville “to support management and implementation of the city’s 2020 Transportation Bond Program,” per city documents. Freese and Nichols’ service scope will include program and project management oversight, design management, bidding assistance and construction phase assistance, per documents.

The implementation of the 2020 transportation bond program is expected to take an estimated five years for completion of program projects.
