San Diego Friday employed Jorge Riveros as its director of transportation to steer the division, which was previously a piece of the Transportation and Storm Water Division.

The brand new standalone Transportation Division was fashioned with the intention of bringing a strategic focus to enhancing security on San Diego streets for all modes, advancing connections to public transit and growing protected bike lanes in communities throughout the town.
